The Islamic Consultative Assembly (Parliament) is the sole refuge and sanctuary of the nation, and it holds a status higher than all other offices and authorities in the country. This elevated position must not be undermined or violated; undermining the sanctity of Parliament is an offensive act, contrary to the public interest, and in conflict with the teachings of Islam.
